1988 TOYOTA MR2

1587cc, manual. This white Toyota MR2 Mk1 (one of two in our sale) was first registered on 1st May 1988 and is now showing 102,889 miles on its odometer, with an MoT valid until May 2026. It comes from a deceased estate with the latest keeper having owned it for over 14 years, during which time it covered fewer than 3k miles.

The MR2 has an original service book containing 15 stamps, with the most recent entry recorded in 2009 at 86,335 miles when the cam belt was also replaced. Receipts show that the car has had at least two more oil changes since then, in addition to another timing belt and water pump replacement in 2021. 

Paperwork includes a good history file with well organised receipts dating back to 1989, the owner's manual pack and a collection of Toyota MR2 Club material. A locking wheel nut key is also included, and the petrol gauge is reading nearly full.
