1968 AUSTIN MINI COOPER MKII

This Mk2 Mini Cooper was first registered on 19th March 1968, and the vendor has owned it since 1974. MoT certificates show that he used it extensively until it was laid up in 1983. Today the Mini is no longer on the DVLA's database, and is being sold as a restoration project. The vendor rebuilt the engine at approximately 105k miles, and the odometer is now showing 64,691 (corresponds to 164,691 miles).

When the engine was rebuilt, the block was bored to +0.030. The crankshaft did not need grinding and remains standard. The car comes with a receipt showing that it received new wings and sills and a respray in 1981. It is fitted with a Madadash dashboard, but the original dash fittings are included in the car. It is currently on 4.5J Dunlop reverse rim wheels, and standard wheels are including in the back.
