1973 VW BEETLE 1303 S

This red, 1600cc Volkswagen 1303 S “Super” Beetle has been in the same family since 1976, when it was purchased by the vendor's husband. The V5C shows only one former keeper, and the odometer records 55,010 miles. We are told that the car was well maintained until 2014, when ill health prevented it from being kept on the road. The vendor tells us: “I would like the car sold for preservation, as we kept it so long. I can still remember the day we went to collect it.”

Paperwork includes the V5C, assorted MoT certificates, tax discs, valuations certificates, parts receipts and the original service book containing 7 stamps up to 16k miles in 1976. Also included is a set of spare keys. The Beetle was first registered on 26th February 1973.

The vendor advises that the petrol tank will need cleaning internally before the car is able to run again.
