1962 AJS MODEL 31

The vendor acquired this 1962 AJS Model 31 in 2021 and embarked on a full restoration of the frame, suspension and paintwork, plus a top-end engine rebuild. The history file contains a good collection of invoices from his ownership, and a long list of works achieved. This included calibration of brakes and bearings, renewal of various seals and gaskets, a new ammeter, some new wiring, new tyres, battery and various other improvements.

Also present is a period handbook, copy of an original instruction manual, and the latest V5C which indicates 6 former keepers. The bike was first registered on 1st May 1962, and its odometer shows 13,232 miles.

There is no key.
