This Mercedes-Benz 280SL (R107) is an original UK car in right-hand drive, finished in its original shade of Signal Red and first registered in Northamptonshire on 25th November 1983. It comes with owner's handbooks, and its odometer shows 230,326 miles. The MoT is valid to 13th October 2026.

The service log registers an impressive 19 services up to 107k miles (undated, but believed to be in the 1990s). Extensive structural renovations were carried out between 2018 and 2021, and the history file contains a good collection of invoices covering this period. Work has included refurbishing all 5 wheels in 2022, and renewing the windscreen, off-side front wing and bootlid in 2020, and replacing the rear brake discs, pads, shoes and calipers in November 2025. The hood is by Bestwick of Derby.

The owner has had the car for 8 years and shown it at various local events. She describes it as a “very comfortable car, especially in the summer with the hood down thanks to the wind deflector”. She has also been forthcoming about the car's remaining imperfections, advising that there is some play in the rear differential and steering box drop-arm, a minor exhaust leak and minor oil leak, and the warm-up regulator is intermittent. The convertible roof would also benefit from some minor adjustment.

It comes with 2 sets of keys, and the current V5C which indicates 8 former keepers.
