1963 SUNBEAM RAPIER SERIES IV
This Sunbeam Rapier Series IV is finished in Goodwood Green with a Fawn interior with green carpets. It's equipped with a 1.6-litre engine, and its original options include Laycock overdrive, rev counter and a period radio.
The odometer shows 37,050 miles, and although this figure can not be verified, it is supported by MoT certificates. Among the paperwork is a certificate from the Roots Archive Centre Trust which confirms that BBM 407A was first registered on 21st November 1963 in Bedfordshire, in the same colours we see today.
We're told it has been shown at events with the Sunbeam Rapier Club, and in the vendor's words it "runs well." The car is accompanied by a workshop manual, handbook, sales leaflets, spare key and a good collection of receipts from the last decade or so. There is also a printed list of works completed between 2013 and 2015, and a previous owner has provided a detailed summary of the car's ownership history up to 2012.
