1995 JAGUAR XJ-S 4.0 CONVERTIBLE AUTO

This Jaguar XJ-S, finished in British Racing Green, was recently offered as a competition prize, but the winner decided to take the cash alternative instead. The odometer shows 99,902 miles, and although this figure cannot be guaranteed, it does appear to be supported by maintenance history. The latest MoT was passed with no advisories and remains valid to 10th December 2026.

The accompanying Heritage Certificate confirms that this car was manufactured on 8th August 1995, its interior trimmed in Oatmeal leather. It was first sold by R.A. Creamer & Son Ltd of Kensington, and registered on 25th August 1995. The handbook pack includes the original service book which logs 19 services, the latest being by Bridge Classic Cars at 99,902 miles in January this year – work which also includes new tyres and a new alternator. In their words, “the car has been maintained regardless of cost and is in superb condition throughout”. It comes with MoT certificates going back to 2006, and a large collection of receipts, mainly from independent Jaguar specialist Cov Cats. One of these indicates the installation of a reconditioned gearbox at 93k miles in 2015.

The current V5C is present, indicating only three former keepers, and the latest keeper acquired the Jaguar in 2005.
