2002 FORD THUNDERBIRD

This Ford Thunderbird is finished in Evening Black, with a Midnight Black leather interior. It's equipped with Ford's 3.9-litre 32-valve aluminium V8 with 5-speed automatic transmission, and its original features include automatic headlamps, speed-sensitive wipers, power-adjustable steering column, CD multichanger, 17in chrome wheels and removable hardtop. This example also features the optional ‘black accent package’. It has an advisory-free MoT to 25th August 2026, and the odometer shows only 43,311 miles.

The car is believed to have been imported some years ago and left unregistered in dry storage. Seeing its potential, it has recently been recommissioned it, and installed the rear fog and reversing lights necessary for UK registration. Their work included a full service, new front and rear suspension with new wishbones, disc brakes, calipers & pads, fuel pump, rear ABS sensors, soft-top, new tyres all round, and fitment of an ‘as-new’ soft-top. The car is also equipped with a fob-operated battery isolator.

Paperwork includes the car's Ford build sheet, a copy of an old Connecticut registration certificate, HMRC letter containing NOVA reference number, current MoT, and the current V5C. First UK registration was on 1st October 2025.

The vendor advises that the radio currently does not work while the car is in motion, but will work when not in gear.
