1987 VW POLO C

This Volkswagen Polo C has been registered to the same keeper for almost its entire life, and its odometer is showing only 25,883 miles. The latest keeper purchased the car – affectionately known as Polly – when it was 11 months old, and drove it minimally until she was 85 in 2009. It has been dry stored in a garage under blankets ever since. It was recently unearthed, fired up, and given a new battery, but recommissioning will be required. The brakes are semi-seized, and the carburetor/choke will require attention. The vendor believes that there is also possible damage to the starter motor teeth. 

Polly's handbook pack contains the original service log which records an impressive 17 annual services up to 25,841 miles in 2007 (almost all at the same garage near Ipswich). We also have a spare key, Haynes manual, and a ring binder of MoT certificates, receipts and a period brochure. First registration was on 1st August 1987, and the V5C indicates only 1 former keeper.
