1990 AUSTIN MINI THIRTY

This Mini Thirty's history file shows that the it has had a John Cooper conversion from new. This conversion retained the original 998cc engine but added a balanced, polished and gas flowed head, larger inlet and exhaust valves and a 9:8:1 compression ratio, it is also designed to run on unleaded petrol. Twin SU Carburettors with K & N filters are also fitted to a alloy inlet manifold. The conversion is completed with the fitting of a alloy rocker cover. Power is increased from the standard 43 BHP to 60 BHP. The present owner has had the Mini for 13 years.

The car is finished in Cherry Red, with a black-and-red interior and fitted with a full set of walnut trim. The odometer is showing 84,889 miles, and the MoT is valid to 22nd January 2027. Original handbooks are present, together with a Haynes manual, various receipts, JCW conversion certificate, and a few MoT certificates covering 1995 to 2027. First registration was on 19th April 1990. 

The vendor advises that the spotlights need looking at and some carb tuning may be required.
