1967 FIAT 1100R LHD

Our regular visitors may remember this charming Fiat 1100R Familiale from previous sales at ACA in 2023 and 2024. Believed to have originally been owned by a vineyard near Turin, it was then stored for several years before being imported into the UK in 2019. It is perhaps the only one of its kind in the UK, with only a handful still left in mainland Europe.

Built in September 1967, the Fiat has had 4 registered keepers since its first UK registration in April 2019. The current vendor purchased it from our July 2024 sale, and drove it to our premises for this next sale. He describes it as “driving perfectly”. The odometer shows 46,409 miles.

During 2022, the car was given a full body refurbishment and bare metal respray in original Fiat Pavone (Peacock) Blue, costing £4800. This was followed by the fitment of a NOS carburettor, together with a full service, a brake overhaul, refurbished propshaft, new exhaust, 4 new tyres, shock absorbers, suspension bushes, electrics, water pump, thermostat, points and fuel pump.

As a historic vehicle, the car no longer requires annual MoT testing, although it has an MoT through to 6th October 2026. We're told this is a matching numbers car that has not been upgraded, save for period extras such as the FAPA roof rack (included), period quartz dashboard clock, steering wheel cover, radiator blind, mat set and windscreen parking indicator.

Paperwork accompanying the vehicle includes the V5C, a workshop manual, various UK invoices, UK registration correspondence, a list of the work carried out after the car came to the UK, and a Fiat dating letter from 2019. A spare ignition key is also present.
