1982 FORD ESCORT RS 1600I

This Mk3 Ford Escort RS 1600i, finished in Strato Silver Metallic, comes with a well-documented history spanning more than four decades. MoT certificates are accompanied by a large collection of maintenance invoices covering the period from the early 1980s through to the current owner's tenure, which began when he purchased the car from one of our sales in 2024. At that stage, the previous vendor reported that an engine rebuild had been carried out 2k miles previously, at c.81k miles. Today the odometer shows 83,427 miles, and the MoT is valid until 27th August 2026.

The car is in highly presentable overall condition, and the vendor advises that new wheel arches were fitted in late 2024 / early 2025. Further paperwork comprises the previous and current V5Cs, a parts list, a workshop manual CD, RS Owners Club material and tax discs. Spare keys are also present.

First registration was on 16th December 1982.
