1979 FORD ESCORT RS2000 MKII

This MkII Ford Escort RS2000 was fully restored a number of years ago, although evidence of the work has sadly been lost. At the time of its sale in 2015, it was said to have been restored by a very knowledgeable enthusiast who had owned it since 2002. It remains in respectable condition throughout today, with 86,429 miles showing on its odometer.

The history file contains previous and current V5Cs, and a few old MoT certificates and receipts. One is for a new Weber 32/36 carburettor last summer; another indicates an oil service and new cam belt in 2021 at 85,977 miles. The car's latest MoT expired in 2022, although as a historic vehicle it is now exempt from testing requirements. It was first registered on 15th February 1979.
