1989 AUSTIN METRO GS

1275cc petrol, manual. This Austin Metro GS is believed to be one of only 2 left on the road. It's fitted with a 72bhp MG Metro engine which recently received an unleaded head conversion, and it sits on a full set of 'pepperpot' alloy wheels. The vendor reports that the car has never been welded.

The interior is very clean, finished in blue/grey cloth trim. It also features a sunroof, which we're told does not leak. The odometer shows 36,457 miles, and the MoT is valid until 28th May 2027.

There is a large history file comprising a good collection of old MoT certificates and maintenance receipts, plus the V5C, original handbook and service book, and an original Austin Rover repair manual. The car was first registered in April 1989.
