1968 MG MIDGET

1275cc, manual. The vendor purchased this red MG Midget from an ACA sale in 2022 and reports that it has been “an absolute joy”. It is understood to have been restored in 1986 after travelling around the world on a yacht for 18 years. Despite its restoration the car retains a good degree of originality, and the doors close perfectly. We're told that it "drives very well” with “no known faults. Engine and gearbox are very smooth, and it starts first time”.

It comes with previous and current V5Cs showing 5 former keepers. Although there is no maintenance history, the vendor tells us that all it has required during his ownership is a new brake master cylinder and regular servicing. The odometer is reading 45,291 miles, but it appears to have stopped working some years ago.
