1971 MG MIDGET

1098cc, manual. This MG Midget is a late square-arch MkIII, registered just a few days before production of the round-arch models began in December 1971. Finished in Blaze Orange, it was purchased by the vendor 18 months ago for regular use, but personal circumstances have prevented him from enjoying it. It passed an advisory-free MoT last year, which has now expired (although as a historic vehicle it is exempt from testing requirements).

It comes with a few receipts from 2018-onwards, a collection of tax discs, and the V5C which indicates 5 former keepers. The vendor tells us that it has recently received new coolant hoses and a new air filter, and advises that the rear suspension is noisy. The odometer is showing 84,321 miles.
