1976 FORD TRANSIT MK1 LWB LHD

1700cc, manual. This impressive Mk1 Ford Transit panel van is a rare long-wheelbase, double-wheeled variant in left-hand drive, with barn doors at the back and sliding doors on both sides. We don't have any history with this vehicle, but it originates from Germany where it is believed to have served as a fire engine. The exterior paintwork looks very fresh, and clearly many new parts have been fitted, but the van retains an original feel inside and out, with type-written cards in each door listing its original fire equipment. The odometer displays 13,507km (representing 8392 miles). 

The V5C records 0 former keepers, and indicates that van's first UK registration was in 2022. It has not yet received an MoT, although as a historic vehicle it is exempt from testing requirements.
