1947 ALVIS TA-14

1892cc, manual. This impressive Alvis TA-14 Mulliner Saloon has been kept indoors since joining the vendor's collection 3 years ago, following its sale at one of our auctions in 2023. The last two MoTs were passed with no advisories, although the latest was in 2012. 

It's accompanied by an impressive lever-arch file of papers which includes its original buff logbook, old black-and-white photos, receipts covering many decades, and a typed history of the car by its previous owner, including a description of a restoration in 1991. It appears to have remained in the same family for most of its life, having been bought by the previous owner's grandfather (a doctor and Alvis enthusiast) specifically for his marriage in 1948.

The odometer shows 39,247 miles, so only 10 miles have been driven since we sold it in 2023.
