1479cc, manual. This handsome Rover 12 P2 saloon was first registered in October 1939 during the first weeks of World War II, and has been with its present keeper for the last three years. The last MoT was passed with no advisories in 2016, and around 6k miles have been covered since then. Currently the odometer is reading 70,935 miles.
The car is in appealing overall condition, with smart bodywork and a nicely patinated brown leather interior. Mechanically it benefits from various recent bushes, bump stops, rear brake shoes, a new starter motor, solenoid, wiper blades and battery. The vendor advises that the fuel gauge is not working.
It comes with a large and well organised collection of paperwork. This includes a list of past owners, maintenance receipts, old MoT certificates going back to 1991, tax discs and a collection of club magazines and correspondences. The car is also supplied with a workshop manual, spare keys and a spare front grill (in the boot). The V5C indicates 6 former keepers.
The registration number 853UYO is non-transferable.
