1959 ROVER 80 SALOON

2286cc, manual. This Rover 80 saloon has been used over the past year for shows, and its MoT only recently expired in June 2026. The red leather interior (complete with genuine fleeces) has acquired a weathered character match its exterior, and it's supplied with a boot full of spares. The odometer is showing 45,078 miles.

The car originates from 1959 and was re-registered in 1978. The vendor acquired it last year and describes it as an “ongoing project”. He reports that “the overdrive works well" and “the car has always started and driven with no problems”. Although there are no accompanying receipts, we're told it has recently received new front tyres, plus an oil & filter change in July.

The only paperwork we have with the car is its latest MoT certificate and the V5C, which indicates 9 former keepers. The registration number DOS 275 is transferable.
