1982 FORD CORTINA GL

1993cc, manual. This smart Mk5 Ford Cortina GL saloon is finished in Cordoba Beige with a Tan interior cloth interior. It was registered in March 1982, the final year of production, and survives in pleasingly smart overall condition, equipped with electronic ignition and a 5-speed Type-9 gearbox (fitted 6 years ago). The original steel wheels are in the boot. 

The odometer shows 82,702 miles, which appears to be consistent with the MoT and service record. There are 15 stamps in the service book up to 1994, plus a hand-written record of 4 more services up to 48,160 miles in 1998. The car comes with its original handbooks, a few old MoT certificates, and a couple of receipts from 2016. We're also told the timing belt was renewed a couple of years ago. The last two MoTs were passed with no advisories, although the latest expired in 2020. (As a historic vehicle it is now exempt from MoT testing requirements.)

Comes with 2 keys and V5C showing 7 former keepers.
