1593cc petrol, manual. This Ford Cortina GL saloon has been owned by the vendor for 10 years, and the V5C records only 2 former keepers. The white paintwork is in very smart condition, and the light brown cloth interior is a lovely place to be. The vendor drove it 110 miles to our premises and describes it as a “nice clean car that drives well”.

The odometer displays only 50,231 miles, supported by the MoT history and the service book. This contains 6 stamps, all by the same East Yorkshire garage, up to 34k miles in 1990. It also comes with 2 keys, a few parts receipts from 2016, previous and current versions of the V5C, a few MoT certificates and an old tax disc. We’re told that the car has also recently received a service, including a new timing belt and thermostat. 

The latest MoT was passed with no advisories in 2020, and as a historic vehicle it is exempt from testing requirements. It was first registered in January 1980.
