1985 PORSCHE 924

1984cc petrol, 5-speed manual. Finished in Garnet Metallic Red, this Porsche 924 shows only 53,375 miles on its odometer, supported by an excellent history. It features a black/grey half-leather interior and a removable sunroof, and appears to be a good basis for cosmetic renovation.

The history includes most of its MoT certificates dating all the way back to 1989, and a collection of invoices for parts and maintenance totalling over £11,500. The car also comes with its full handbook pack, the original order form from 1985, and its sales receipts from 2021 and 2022. It was first registered in August 1985, and the V5C shows 5 former keepers.

The last MoT expired in August 2025, although as a historic vehicle, it is now exempt from annual testing requirements. We’re told that the car has a spark and does run and drive, but the vendor suspects a fuel relay or fuel pump issue which causes a lack of fuel supply after a short period without running. We have not been able to drive it, and we also haven’t been able to open the boot.
