1275cc, manual. This Austin Mini Mayfair received a restoration in 2005, which included a colour change from its original metallic blue to this eye-catching "Nissan LR1" purple. It’s equipped with a sunroof, Minilite alloy wheels, a CD player with an upgraded speaker system, and a leather steering wheel. The vendor bought it as a non-running project in 2018 and much work has been carried out since then. Today it has an MoT which is valid to 8th May 2027, with 84,257 miles showing on the odometer.
We're told the 1275cc engine was bought, rebuilt and installed in 2020. Over the next couple of years the Mini received a new door skin, both A-sections, wheel arches, both front wings and front panel, together with a full respray. All perished steering, brake and suspension components (including rubber cones) were also replaced.
The car was registered as a Category C insurance loss in December 2004, but received a VIC pass a few months later. The V5C certificate is present, along with the current V5C, many old MoT certificates, an album of photos taken during its restoration, and a set of spare keys.
