1975 ROVER 2200TC

2204cc, manual. Finished in Lunar Grey with a well-preserved tan interior, this attractive Rover 2200TC has been registered to the vendor since 2019. According to an old advert for this car, it was once owned by a retired bodyshop mechanic who spent many years restoring it, including giving it a full bare metal respray. The same advert also reports a comprehensive Dinitrol underseal treatment.

The odometer reading of 63,010 miles appears to be supported by the MoT history, although we cannot guarantee this figure. Its ‘passport to service' booklet contains 7 stamps up to 18k miles in 1979, accompanied by a hardback workshop manual and owner's manual. Paperwork includes the V5C, a collection of old MoT certificates going back to 1980, and various receipts, mostly from the 2010s. The last MoT was passed with no advisories, but expired in 2019.
