1961 ROVER P4 80
2286cc petrol, manual. This lovely Rover P4 80 is finished in Glacier White with a smart and gently patinated red leather interior. It has been registered to its present keeper since 1984, having previously been owned by his father, with a total of 4 registered keepers from new.
After spending some years in storage, it was restored around 2008-18 and then saw use as a wedding car, with accompanying invoices showing much expenditure in the early 2010s. An MoT test was last passed in 2018 without advisories, although as a historic vehicle it is exempt from testing requirements. For the last 6 years, it has been off the road, so recommissioning may be required.
The car comes with a reprint of an original workshop manual, a book of "Technical Tips" for the P4, the aforementioned receipts and a typed explanation of its history by the vendor. There is no V5C, so the next owner will need to apply to the DVLA for a new one. First registration was in April 1961.
