948cc, manual. This is a very appealing example of the Series III Morris Minor 1000 saloon, finished in Birch Grey and presented in lovely overall condition, with a cheerful red retrimmed interior. It's equipped with a few extras for convenience, including extra gauges and 12-volt sockets, and in the boot there’s a picnic hamper and 2 boxes of miscellaneous parts, including a crank handle.

The vendor has owned the car since 2011 and has clearly invested in it well. It comes with an excellent history folder containing a large stack of invoices going back to the 2000s, and a few older papers including a letter which accompanied its original sales invoice from H.A. Hamshaw Ltd to a Miss Lewis in Leicester in April 1958. These are accompanied by MoT certificates from 2004 to 2012, workshop manuals, original handbook, and the current V5C. The latest receipt shows that the car received a service completed in May this year at 21,639 miles, and the odometer is still showing the same figure today. The vendor describes it as a "good starter that runs well" although we have found that the brakes will need some attention.

The registration number is non-transferable.
