1952 MG TD

1250cc, manual. This superb MG TD is an original UK example, and the vendor tells us it has received a "painstaking restoration by a father and Formula 1 mechanic son, and has only covered 500 miles since. The result is quite spectacular". The work was carried out a few years ago, but the car has clearly been very well looked after ever since. In 2017 it changed hands for £29,000, and today it remains in lovely condition throughout. We’re told it is "ready to enjoy" with 745 miles showing on the odometer. 

The car is supplied with an album of photos documenting its restoration, the current V5C showing 7 former keepers, and a receipt dated January 2025 for a full service, including some new brake components and a few other tasks. There is also a copy of an independent and highly favourable inspection provided to the vendor (undated). 

The car was first registered in May 1952, and its registration number is non-transferable.
