1974 TRIUMPH TR6

2498cc petrol, manual. This Triumph TR6 has spent 19 years with its present owner, and there was only 1 keeper before him. We’re told it "runs perfectly", having driven to Le Mans Classic this summer, and also to our site. It received a "complete strip down and rebuild" in 2008, together with a colour change from its original New White to the current shade of pale lemon yellow. Work also included Bosch fuel pumps, Mazda MX5 seats, an MP3-compatible classic radio and an unleaded head conversion. The car remains in very attractive overall condition, and we are told it has only been used occasionally in good weather. The odometer is showing 54,883 miles. 

Paperwork includes the current V5C showing 1 former keeper, and a Heritage Certificate. This records that it was built in November 1973 and sold in January 1974 by a dealer in Oxford, equipped with factory-fitted headrests, heater, overdrive, seat belts and tonneau cover. A few receipts from 2007 are also present, plus the handbook and various MoT certificates from 2007 to 2017.
