1960 ALVIS TD21

2993cc, automatic. This metallic blue Series I Alvis TD21 drophead coupé has been with the same family for its entire life. It remains in very smart overall condition, with only minor cosmetic flaws, a clean engine bay and lovely chrome. The white leather interior has been nicely preserved and provides seating for 4, with brass treadplates bearing the name of the supplying dealer, Charles Follett of London. There have been only 3 registered keepers from new.

The car comes with a large collection of maintenance receipts, beginning in 1972 and mostly focused on the period from then until the early 1990s when a restoration was carried out. The latest MoT (now optional) was passed in 2020 at 20,701 miles, and today the odometer is showing 20,760 miles. We have an old V5 but the latest V5C has been lost, so the next owner will need to apply to the DVLA for a new one. 

It does run and drive (see video) although the vendor advises that there is a slight noise in first gear.
