1975 MG B GT

This MGB GT has been prepared for track use with a roll-cage, engine steady-bar, Oselli engine and Mazda MX-5 seats. It was also featured in Retro Cars magazine in December 2006. Despite the preparation, the car, now in striking BL Vermilion rather than its original silver, hasn't been raced, according to the vendor who has owned it for nine years. The car was registered in January 1975 and now shows 3785 miles on its odometer. Reference to the online MoT history shows this to be 103,785 miles, with the 100,000-mile mark being passed in 2008. The last MoT expired in September 2017 at 103,705 miles. As an historic vehicle, the MGB is now MoT-exempt. The history folder includes the V5C and old MoTs, bills and service records back to 2012. These seem to suggest the repaint into Vermilion was carried out around February 2020. There's also the copy of Retro Cars magazine featuring the car (in a previous black and white guise) on its cover as well as inside, detailing some of its modifications.
