1964 FORD LOTUS CORTINA MK1 

Registered in June 1964, our vendor informs us that this Ford Lotus Cortina MkI has recently had in excess of £6500 spent on it, including a gearbox overhaul, rear axle overhaul and some rewiring. In keeping with many similar cars of this type in period, at some point during its life, it has been re-shelled and the engine has been changed. The vendor reports that the car is running and driving, with working brakes, and that he is unaware of any mechanical issues with it.  There is no current MoT; as an historic vehicle, the Cortina no longer requires one. Its last was undertaken in January 2010 at 5629 miles. Sold by Camberley Marine and Sportscars Ltd in 2016 for £30,000, a copy of this invoice comes with the car. The current mileage indicated by the odometer is 5644 miles. 

Documentation accompanying the vehicle includes the V5C, the 2010 MoT certificate, and a photocopy of an Autopress workshop manual.
