1961 FORD THUNDERBIRD AUTO

While constructed in 1961, this impressive 6.3-litre Monte Carlo Red Ford Thunderbird only came to the UK in 2016, being registered here in November of that year. Its odometer shows 97,168 miles. As an historic vehicle, the Thunderbird is now MoT-exempt; its last expired in February 2020 after having been tested the previous year at 89,567 miles. Just one UK keeper is registered. The car was restored during 1994 when it was still in the USA, when it also received a new engine as well. 

The car comes with a large history folder that includes the V5C, owner's handbook, workshop manual, parts catalogue and restoration guide. There's also correspondence with the original owner, plus British and American invoices back to the 1980s along with brochures, photos and other sundry paperwork. The most recent bill is from June 2023 for £8750 for an extensive cosmetic and mechanical refresh. There's also some spare keys as well.
