1953 MG YB

1,250cc. Manufactured at Abingdon and first registered on the 22nd July 1953. One of only 1,301 "YB's" built. It was re-registered with the number NG1 in 1953 and again in 1960 with its current 8077 HP. In 1965 it was then placed in storage in an RAF hanger for the next twenty-six years.

Described by the vendor as a pretty car with the paint flat in places. It was purchased by the current registered owner in 1991 when a six year restoration project commenced and then used regularly, including a trip to Luxembourg, soon after. Unused since Covid lock-down and only being sold due to ill health. Described by the vendor as running and driving well but will require some general recommissioning.

It comes with an extensive history file dating back from 1991 including a large quantity of receipts and MoTs.
