1999 MAZDA MX-5

The vendor tells us that this Mazda MX-5 1800RS, registered in April 1999, has been developed as a road legal track day car for reliable circuit use. It features an RS six-speed close ratio gearbox, Torsen LSD, front lip and spoiler, 6pm dials, Carbing four-point bolt-in rear cage with integral harness bar, JK Composite seats, Luke four-point harness, OMP steering wheel, Motomech WRC gearknob, alloy pedals and centre console delete. There's also a Jass Performance stainless steel frame reinforcement kit (to stiffen the whole car), painted chassis rails, Meister R Zeta CRD coil-overs (fully adjustable in bonnet and boot), SuperPro diff void filler bushes, IL Motorsport hard engine mounts, front strut brace, air-con delete, K&N induction kit, Cobalt rear exhaust, Apec discs and braided brake lines all round. The Mazda has recently had a new power steering belt, cambelt and water pump, plus all its fluids changed. It will come with two sets of wheels; Wolfrace alloys and copies of Volks Racing CE28N items. 

The Mazda is described as running and driving well. It has an MoT through to May 2025 and is showing 74,889 miles on its odometer. It comes with its V5C, a full spec list, and some MoTs and invoices. In July 2005, it was a Category C Insurance Loss; Vehicle Extensively Damaged But Repairable, Insurer Decided Not To Repair.
