Local Classic Vehicle Clubs Enjoy An Exclusive Auction Preview

The visit gave club members the chance to get up close to the impressive range of cars and motorcycles heading under the hammer, while also meeting the ACA team and learning more about the vehicles, the auction process and the ever-evolving classic car market.

Guy and Freddie shared a lively talk about ACA, their passion for classic cars. Their enthusiasm sparked plenty of conversation among guests, many of whom were keen to share stories of their own motoring adventures and restoration projects. 

Afterwards, members enjoyed a hot buffet and refreshments, creating the perfect opportunity to chat, share stories and admire the wide variety of vehicles on display.

What will be the classics of tomorrow?

One of the most interesting discussions of the evening centred around a question every enthusiast loves to debate: which cars will become the classics of the future?

ACA invited club members to share their dream classic car, their ideal modern car and their predictions for tomorrow's collectables.

The answers were as varied as the vehicles themselves. Suggestions ranged from the ever-popular BMW MINI through to a number of modern electric vehicles, proving that future classics can come from almost any corner of the motoring world.

The feedback was especially valuable as ACA prepares to launch ACA Marketplace Classics, a brand-new auction dedicated to affordable classics, modern classics and vehicles with future potential.

Everyone who took part was entered into a prize draw for £50 cash, with Ann (pictured) emerging as the lucky winner.

ACA Marketplace Classics launches this September

The first ACA Marketplace Classics auction takes place on 26 September 2026 and will be filmed live and streamed on YouTube, allowing enthusiasts to join the action wherever they are.

• Selling: 7% + VAT, with a minimum selling fee of £85 + VAT
