The vendor, who has owned this Sienna Brown with Tan vinyl interior Triumph 2500 MkII estate for 13 years, describes it as mechanically in lovely condition and well-maintained. It has had many years of club involvement, competed successfully in four Round Britain Reliability Runs and the owner has used it regularly for all sorts of duties. He describes it as a ‘super reliable classic and becoming rare’. The Triumph was originally fuel-injected with an automatic transmission; it now has 1¾ SU carburettors and a manual gearbox with overdrive. The car was registered in January 1973 and is showing circa 119,000 miles on its odometer. It has an MoT valid to September 2024 even though, as an historic vehicle, it is now MoT-exempt. The vendor reports that it drives very well, although the speedo reads high.
Accompanying the Triumph is its V5C, various MoT certificates back to 1978 and a large stack of invoices for work carried out from September 2010 onwards.
