2,138cc. This Triumph TR4 has been owned by the vendor for 21 years when it was purchased in Devon and driven back to Norfolk. It has been subject to a full body-off restoration over a period of years which included the fitting of a fast road engine built by Canada Garage Racing and rated to 130BHP. The car has been subject to several upgrades including Stag gearbox, lightened flywheel, drilled front brake discs and servo, oil cooling system, alternator conversion and a high torque starter motor. In 2006 it was colour changed from red and it is noted that both rear wings and boot-lid are fibre glass. It comes with the vendor's TR Register provenance record which states that the car was raced in 1979 by a previous owner, an RAC scrutineer's pass ticket is provided.
The history file contains restoration photographs, TR Register documents, Heritage certificate, many tax discs, receipts, recent MoTs, hand-written ownership record and original handbook. The mileage is recorded at 49,000 but the engine fitted has covered approximately 1,500 miles.
