Citroen's Traction Avant was a radical creation when it appeared in 1934, being the world's first monocoque-bodied, front-wheel drive, mass-production car. This 1911cc example dates from 1948 but was only UK-registered in August 1991. Since then, it has had four registered keepers. Its odometer shows 98,283km and the last MoT expired in June 2013 after having been tested the year before at an indicated 97,244km. However, as an historic vehicle, the Citroen is now MoT-exempt. The vendor reports that the Traction Avant runs and drives with no known issues. Paperwork includes the V5C, owner's handbooks and some old tax discs.
