1956 JENSEN 541

This handsome Jensen 541 has recently received a full re-commissioning by Bridge Classic Cars. Work included: 

• Refurbishing the head with new valves, springs & hardened seats for unleaded petrol
• A full service and engine tune
• Rectification of various electrical issues
• Overhaul of the braking system and fitting a new servo
• Upgrading certain chrome items
• Overhaul of the front flap mechanism
• Rectification of minor paint issues
• Total re-carpeting of the boot area
• Correction of an overdrive fault. 

The history file contains its original buff logbook, revealing that MPN 245 was first registered on 26 October 1956 in Gloucestershire, finished in Crimson. This was later changed to Almond Green, and the current shade of Maroon dates from 2018. Paperwork also includes a good collection of maintenance receipts (mostly from 2014 onwards), a sales invoice dating from 1990, and some photographs of the car showing its previous colour. 

The odometer shows 42,509 miles, and the V5C indicates 5 former keepers.
