Over £25k has been invested in preparing this yellow Austin A35 to Goodwood ‘Academy’ competition spec, while also keeping it usable in modern traffic. It's powered by a 1275cc Midget engine, which was reconditioned and given a polished & ported head by specialist Peter Burgess, and the gearbox is a Ford Type-9 five-speed unit.
The build took place between 2012-2018, and our vendor has provided a long list of works achieved, including:

The interior of the car features a roll cage, with new carpets, headlining, door cards, Ridgard black leather seats, Willans harnesses and Mota Lita steering wheel. Its odometer is displaying 81,700 miles.
The Austin has an impressive history file which includes its original buff logbook and bill of sale. These tell us that 306 ATO was first registered on 15th October 1957 to a Mr Jenkin-Jones in Nottingham, finished in Court Grey with a red interior. Also present are various old correspondences, MoT certificates and sales invoices relating to the car, the V5C indicating 7 former keepers, and a large collection of maintenance receipts.
