1988 BENTLEY MULSANNE S

This blue Bentley Mulsanne S is accompanied by stacks of paperwork showing a thorough maintenance regime over its 118,785 miles. Receipts go right back to the car's earliest maintenance, and the history begins with the original letter from Broughtons Rolls Royce & Bentley in Gloucestershire, confirming receipt of the first owner's order. From this we learn that the car was specified in Windsor Blue with Double Gold coachlines, Magnolia hide interior with Windsor Blue piping, and a long list of extras including rear picnic tables, air horns, Bentley quarter panel badges, radiator machined to take Flying ‘B’B mascot, lambswool boot rug, Burr Walnut veneer and uprated speakers. The order was placed in September 1987, and the Mulsanne would be registered on 1st February 1988.

The vendor describes it as a “lovely car that runs and drives very well”, and is only selling due to owning two other Bentleys and a Rolls-Royce, and not having enough time for all of them – although the car has been MoT tested every year. It was driven 70 miles to our sale, and prior to its arrival it received a fresh set of tyres and a new MoT, which is valid to 2nd October 2026. 

In addition to maintenance receipts, the car comes with a handbook pack containing a service book with 30 stamps up to 97k miles in 2008. Also present are 3 sets of keys, old MoTs and club publications, Bentley promotional material, and a certificate for the installation of a security system. The V5C indicates 4 previous keepers from new.
