1955 AUSTIN A135 PRINCESS LIMOUSINE

The second owner of this impressive Austin A135 Princess Limousine ('DM4') purchased it in 1972 and cared for it for 53 years until 2025. Despite being MoT exempt, the car has a voluntary, advisory-free MoT to 14th September 2026, and its odometer displays 49,682 miles.

The car is accompanied by a good history file of maintenance and repair invoices, and a meticulous written record of work carried out, plus old tax discs back to 1978, a sales invoice from 1972 and an original owner's maintenance handbook. Also present the original buff logbook, revealing that the Princess was first registered on 23rd September 1955 in Southend. 

Much mechanical and cosmetic work has been invested in the car over the years, and the vendor tells us that everything is working, including the onboard jacking system - although the heater has recently been isolated at the engine valve due to a perished hose. ("Easy fix, 6 inches hose and 2 Jubilee clips," says our vendor.) The latest V5C is present, recording just two former keepers.
