1959 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER CLOUD I

This Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I has had only 4 registered former keepers, and its odometer displays 40,383 miles. Equipped from new with power steering, and finished in Shell Grey paintwork with red upholstery, SNH 238 was originally sold by HR Owen Ltd on 29th June 1959 to a buyer in Suffolk, and first registered a few days later on 1st July.

Considerable investment was made during the years 2005 to 2010. Maintenance receipts show that nearly £47,000 was spent on coachwork and mechanical restoration in 2006, followed by multiple four-figure bills in the years that followed, including refurbishment of the cylinder head. A handwritten notebook recording owner maintenance and mileage for this period is also present.

Paperwork includes photocopies of the car's original order reference sheet, including batch number and chassis specification, etc. It also comes with an original workshop manual, various old MoT certificates, tax discs, previous and current V5C, and various original owners' leaflets.
