The Minerva was a variant of the Land Rover Series I, assembled in Belgium as a CKD (complete knocked-down) export model for the Belgian military and police force. This 80in example comes with a BMIHT Heritage Certificate which confirms that it was built and despatched from Solihull on 8th May 1952. It was imported into the UK in 2021, and comes with a large collection of parts receipts dating from then onwards, including a recent fuel tank, master cylinder, brakes, wheel bearings, propshaft and clutch. A canvas tilt is also included.
The vendor describes the condition of the bulkhead and chassis as “excellent”, and the odometer shows 39,468 miles. The V5C is present, indicating that the Minerva was first registered in the UK on 1st October 2021. There have been two registered keepers since then, the second of whom acquired the vehicle on 25th October 2021.
The registration number is non-transferrable.
