1954 MG MAGNETTE ZA

This MG Magnette is a very early, pre-quarterlight example registered in March 1954, sold as a non-runner requiring full restoration. We sold it to the present vendor in 2022, who describes it as “mainly complete” and suggests that “it's not as bad as it looks!”

Some original parts are loose in the boot. There is no V5C but the original beige logbook is present. The car is also accompanied by a British Motor Heritage certified copy of a factory record showing that it was built from 2nd Feb to 1st March 1954, making it one of the first 250 examples. At the time of its previous sale in 2022, it was the 8th oldest ZA known to the Club.

Due to its early build date, this particular Magnette would be eligible to participate in the Mille Miglia, once restored.
