1946 ARIEL NH RED HUNTER
This Ariel Red Hunter (NH) retains its original frame, engine and gearbox. It benefits from a rebuilt magneto, gearbox and speedometer, re-spoked and powder-coated wheels, and a recent clutch and chain. Paperwork includes a copy of a dating certificate, a collection of receipts from 2019-20 totalling around £1700, and an original buff logbook from 1955. Copies of workshop manual and instruction manual are also supplied, together with a current V5C which records 2 former keepers.
The bike was first sold as a civilian model (rather than a War Department bike) to Dene Motor Company in Newcastle on Tyne and registered on 1st July 1946. Its latest MoT expired in 2011.
