This 918cc side-valve Morris Minor MM two-door saloon was originally dispatched to the Stuart and Ardern dealership in London in May 1952, as confirmed by a Heritage certificate dated 1984. It was then kept by the same family for 72 years; the current vendor purchased it from the family custodian some 6 months ago.
The V5C records 3 former keepers, and the odometer shows 77,631 miles.
The history file includes the original buff logbook, the Heritage Certificate, a collection of MoT certificates going back to the early 1960s, manuals, parts lists, a period sales advert and a couple of recent parts receipts. A few spare parts are also present.
The vendor describes the car as "not restored, very solid, but will need new fuel and light recommissioning." He notes that it has not been used in the last two years, but will start, run and drive.
The car was first registered on 4th June 1952 and re-registered in March 1984.
