1983 CITROEN 2CV6 SPECIAL

Built on a galvanised chassis, this red Citroen 2CV6 Special has been kept in a garage since the vendor bought it in 2022. He describes it as being “in good running order”.

During his tenure, the car has received electronic ignition, new dampers, Burton Cars stainless suspension cylinders, a larger fuel tank, new soft-top with heated rear window, Genuine Citroen hatchback conversion and an interior refurbishment. Within the last year the car has received an oil service and its kingpins have been greased. The last MoT was passed in July 2022 at 84,788 miles, although as a historic vehicle is it now exempt from testing requirements. Today the odometer shows 91,750 miles.

The car is supplied with its V5C and 2 sets of keys, a few parts receipts from the last few years, MoT certificates, and some second-hand panels (front winds and rear RHS door). It was first registered on 7th March 1983.

 We're advised that synchromesh tends to be weak on second gear.
