This Matchless was originally a G3LS 350, but the vendor tells us it was rebuilt with a 500cc head at some stage prior to 2014, making it a G80S. The V5C describes it simply as a 500cc Matchless. Its odometer shows 19,100 miles.
In addition to previous and current versions of the V5C, the history file contains a dating letter from the AJS and Matchless Owners Club, a receipt from when the bike changed hands in 1997, tax discs, fuel ration coupons, various transfers, old photos of the bike, MoT certificates dating back to 1997, and various relevant books and manuals.
The V5C indicates that the bike was re-registered in the UK in June 1997, after prior registration overseas.
